With under two months to air,
WWE turned towards NEP to find a solution for broadcasting the “Greatest Royal Rumble”, a live pay-per-view event emanating from King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. With the support of NEP’s Worldwide Network, the event was broadcasted on WWE Network and distributed in Saudi Arabia for the first time in history.
I had the privilege of joining the international NEP crew on their trip over to Saudi for this historic broadcast. With equipment and personnel sourced from around the world, logistics and project management were key to bringing this show to air. Throughout the project, I worked with a team of engineers and was responsible for all fiber communication throughout the venue. In addition to managing the fiber requirements, we also manufactured custom power, audio and control cables with limited resources and tools in order to accommodate last minute client requests.
